NOTE: Will not run on Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur, or higher Mac operating systems Windows Minimum System Requirements: This was definitely not my favorite ND game, for sure. It's unfortunate it all seemed to be tossed aside at the end for a predictable ending.
Also, the history lessons are quite cool. The one redeeming quality of this game was that the voice acting was great, as usual. If you like spooky ND games, this one is not for you (apart from the darkness of the secret tunnels setting, it's not spooky at all).Īnd the game was so short! I'm just disappointed the entire game seemed to happen over the course of one evening and in one setting. You just wandered around the small castle and there wasn't all that much to do outside or in the secret tunnels. Also, you could tell who the villain was pretty much halfway through the game so that's disappointing.Īlso, the setting was so limited, I think. There were too many loose ends at the end of the game, and all the beautiful subplots about the missing girls were just tossed aside at the end. The monster is also the least scary thing in the world. The plot was pretty good throughout the game but there were definitely plot holes and the ending was completely unsatisfying. The gameplay was quite good, and the puzzles were ok, albeit quite easy. The pace is slow at the beginning and all in all, there isn't much to do. The plot and the secluded setting definitely made me want to stop playing because I was doing the same things again and again. It was boring (I'm so sorry, I usually love ND). Overall, this ND wasn't as good as I'd hoped.
